Personal or role-based addresses?
Both: role-based addresses so that anyone can cover, personal ones for a direct line. What matters is that a shared mailbox never belongs to just one person.
What happens when someone leaves?
The mailbox is set to forward and archived after a set period, so no ongoing matters are lost.
How many mailboxes do we need?
Fewer than you think. Four to six role-based addresses plus personal ones are often enough.
