A change of provider is usually underestimated: folder structures, calendars, contacts and incoming mail all have to move. We mirror everything beforehand, then switch over and reconcile afterwards.

How long does it take?
The transfer runs in the background, often overnight. The part people notice is reconfiguring the devices, usually half an hour per workstation.
Is mail lost during the changeover?
No, both sides accept mail for the transitional period.
Also away from Microsoft 365?
Yes, in both directions. Calendars and shared access need particular attention.
