Can you take over any software?
If the source code is available, almost always. Without source code it becomes difficult, and often replacement is the only option.
How long does familiarisation take?
One to four weeks until we are able to act, depending on size.
Will you say so honestly if it is bad?
Yes. And just as honestly if it is better than its reputation; we do not recommend rebuilding out of convenience.
