Is Google Analytics permitted in Germany?
Yes, with explicit consent and correct setup. Without consent, no, which is why we always build the dialogue in.
Is there an alternative without cookies?
Yes, for example self-hosted solutions. These often need no consent, though the data is less detailed.
What is the difference from Search Console?
Analytics shows what happens on the site. Search Console shows how you appear in search. Together they give the full picture.
