Do we need scanners?
Not necessarily. A phone with a camera is enough. For high volumes, though, scanners are faster.
Can the warehouse talk to the order?
Yes, and that is the real gain: material is reserved against the order and booked automatically when used.
How does stocktaking work?
Generate a count list, record with the phone, check the variances and book them, instead of paper and a night shift.
